HR Operations Officer

Location: Best, Netherlands

Employment Type: Part-time 24 / 32 uur (0.6/0.8 FTE) 

Reporting to: Site HR Manager, Best 

About the Role 

As an HR Operations Officer, you will play an important role in supporting employees and managers throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You will ensure HR processes run efficiently while helping to strengthen our company culture in a fast-paced and international scale-up environment.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and various departments across the organization.

To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced HR (Operations) Officer who will help ensure smooth HR operations and contribute to an outstanding employee experience across our teams.

Your mission

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding.
  • Manage HR administration, employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate payroll input, time registration, and absence processes together with external payroll providers and Company Doctor.
  • Act as a trusted HR contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR topics.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and company culture. Organize and manage activities that support and strengthen this.
  • Coordinate training and development activities and track certifications and skill development.
  • Maintain and optimize HR systems and HR data.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
  • Ensure and maintain accurate HR-related financial administration for the EU region in SAP.

What you'll bring

  • Education: HBO Bachelor level in HR, administration, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational HR role.
  • Knowledge of Dutch Labor Law
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset.
  • Resilient and able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Based in or living near Best (or willing to commute)
  • Available to work fully on-site in Best
